Our mission is to model the spirit of excellence demonstrated by the late, Mr. Zeak Lacy, dearly known as Daddy Lacy to many. Mr. Lacy was an educator for 35 years and retired from Blytheville Public Schools. He absolutely loved Algebra and worked diligently to create fun learning experiences for his students. He valued education and encouraged students as early as junior high school to begin to get serious about it. Not only was Mr. Lacy a highly skilled Algebra teacher, but he was also a mentor to many students. The father-daughter relationship that evolved between he and Nicole Eskin, the founder of the Daddy Lacy Project, is the reason this foundation is in operation today. Nicole often expresses that she was blessed by all of the talks, encouragement, comfort, support and love he showed not only to me but to all of his students. This organization hopes to model this lovingkindness toward our students, those who will lead us into the future. Thank you, Daddy Lacy, for being a beacon of light and hope to many generations. His legacy will continue throughout generations through the efforts of The Daddy Lacy Project.
